Cadac Safari Chef 30 HP Lite This compact, versatile gas barbecue weighs less than 4 kg and comes with at least three different cooking surfaces; a burner with potstand, a BBQ grid and a lid/dome ( the lid/dome can also be used as a pot). The BBQ grid is provided with CADAC GreenGrill coating; a ceramic coating for healthier and cleaner cooking. Thanks to the integrated heat spreader under the BBQ grid, the heat is well distributed over the entire cooking surface. The removable fat pan catches cooking residues, but at the same time protects the Safari Chef’s burner from wind to prevent the burner from blowing out. You can easily clean all the surfaces with soapy water. The Safari Chef is available as a low pressure unit (LP) and as a high pressure unit (HP). The LP version works with a hose and pressure regulator on a refillable gas bottle or with a CADAC Power Pak/Dual Power Pak. Note: gas bottle, pressure regulator and / or Power Pak are not included. The Safari Chef HP works directly on an EN417 gas cartridge. The Safari Chef is easy to take with you thanks to the foldable legs and convenient carrying bag. For best results pour hot soapy water into the Soft Soak, add the BBQ Grid upside down and leave to soak for 60 minutes to allow all burnt-on bits and grease to lift. Then remove and simply wipe clean the grid or rinse with clean water. By using the Soft Soak your BBQ Grid and cooking surfaces do not become damaged like they can with the use of traditional scrubs, brushes and cleaning products. By leaving the BBQ Grid to soak in this soft, protected environment, burnt-on bits and hard to remove residue is loosened without the need to scrub and scrape your BBQ Grid’s coating off. The Trio Power Pak weighs only 1.2 kg and it combines the gas supply of 3x 220g gas cartridges; this makes the use of the large, heavy gas cylinder unnecessary. The housing has a removable back, which makes it easy to click the cartridges into the device. By combining the gas supply of the cartridges, the cartridges will freeze less quickly and the device can be used even at lower temperatures. The gas hose of the Trio Power Pak can easily be (dis)connected due to the integrated Quick Release coupling. This way you (dis)connect the gas hose with just a single “click”.
